Counselling with Anna Taylor

About me
Kia ora, I am offering free counselling services to people in the church and the community both adults and children.
I am a Trainee Counsellor and in my final year as a counselling student at BTI (Bethlehem Training Institute). I am currently doing an internship through Mind Health. I have a background in Nursing, and still work part time as a practice nurse in Nelson.
I believe that your emotional and mental wellbeing are just as important as your physical health.
My hope is that in spending some time listening to you and talking together, I can encourage and support you in making positive changes towards healing and happiness.

What to Expect

  • Sessions are about 1 hr long

  • You can talk about whatever you want

  • Everything you say is confidential

  • If there is a risk to your well-being or others I may need to share relevant information with my Supervisor.

  • To ensure your safety I am monitored by my supervisior

What is counselling?

There are times in our lives when we have personal issues that can impact our emotional wellbeing. Counselling is a supportive relationship where two people come together to focus on and explore that issue.

My role is to help you explore, understand, resolve and come to terms with the issue in a way that works for you.

Some things people choose to talk about are.

  • Loss

  • Grief

  • Relationship issues

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Anger

  • Stress

  • Family issues

  • Parenting
